You will drive the definition, governance, and delivery of diverse data products-ensuring 100% accuracy and 100% on-time delivery across all client consumption channels. This role carries executive accountability for data strategy, enterprise alignment, and building organizational capability. You will partner with senior business leaders to understand granular client needs and translate them into robust, scalable data products that drive business value and client satisfaction.

What will you do?
  • Define and own the strategic vision and roadmap for the data product portfolio across Investor Services, with paramount focus on client data accuracy, timeliness, and diverse delivery channel requirements (APIs, batch feeds, real-time streams, web portals, reports)
  • Lead comprehensive client requirements discovery and translate needs into granular data product specifications including delivery frequency, data freshness, retention policies, formats, and SLAs
  • Establish and operationalize enterprise-grade data governance frameworks with clear data ownership, stewardship, and accountability aligned with regulatory requirements and client expectations
  • Own data quality and timeliness accountability across all client-facing data products; implement comprehensive validation, monitoring, and escalation mechanisms to ensure 100% accuracy and on-time delivery
  • Design and evolve scalable, secure data platform architecture and strategy to support diverse client delivery channels and consumption patterns, aligned with enterprise standards
  • Author and maintain Investor Services data strategy; represent business lines in Enterprise Chief Data Officer discussions and drive alignment across the organization
  • Lead, coach, and develop high-performing data management teams in a matrix environment; build organizational capability and foster a culture of data stewardship and accountability
  • Identify and drive resolution of performance gaps, latency issues, and delivery challenges; propose and implement solutions, process improvements, and automation opportunities to meet client SLA commitments

What do you need to succeed?

Must haves:
  • 10+ years in data management, data architecture, data governance, or strategic data roles within financial services or asset servicing industries
  • Proven experience defining granular data product specifications (delivery frequency, retention, freshness, formats, SLAs) and working with diverse client delivery channels
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and enforce data quality frameworks and SLAs with accountability for 100% accuracy and on-time delivery in client-facing environments
  • Executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills; proven ability to influence senior business leaders, clients, and enterprise stakeholders in matrix organizations
  • Deep expertise in data governance frameworks, data architecture, and enterprise data management best practices aligned with regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Demonstrated leadership experience building, scaling, and managing high-performing teams with track record of organizational impact

Nice-to-have:
  • Experience with Chief Data Officer functions or enterprise data governance programs
  • Background in Investor Services, Custody, Fund Accounting, or Wealth Management business domains
  • Familiarity with modern cloud data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, Azure) and diverse data delivery architectures
  • Knowledge of emerging data technologies, data-driven innovation, and industry trends relevant to financial services

What's in it for you?

  • A comprehensive Total Rewards Program including bonuses and flexible benefits, competitive compensation, commissions, and stock where applicable.
  • Leaders who support your development through coaching and managing opportunities
  • Ability to make a difference and lasting impact.
  • Work in a dynamic, collaborative, progressive, and high-performing team.
  • Flexible work/life balance options.
  • Opportunities to do challenging work.
  • Opportunities to take on progressively greater accountabilities.
  • Access to a variety of job opportunities across business.
