OverviewThe Director of Branded Content Partnerships will create room to collaborate amongst internal teams, external partners, and client collaborators to carryout best-in-class campaigns for a high-profile account. Additionally, the Director will draw on their experience with Branded Media Content, Content Strategy, and the Media/Vendor sector to develop and strengthen top Branded Media Content partnerships. They will also identify the most suitable investment options.
Must haves include at least 9+ years of relevant experience and a proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships amongst internal and external partners. The ideal candidate will have in-depth experience within both branded content and digital media, along with be able to bring a strong, creative point-of-view to the table as it relates to creating campaigns that resonate with our brands' target audience.

Responsibilities- Valuate and monetize Branded Media Content offerings across agency and clients
- Lead pricing and licensing negotiations with media partners for Branded Content programs
- Helps define the business and brand opportunity for Content programing in client media ecosystems
- Creates Partnership strategy with client, planning and investment teams to ensure cohesiveness with larger brand/media plans
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate large-scale partnerships, sponsorships, and licensing rights opportunities across sports properties
- Participate and help lead client brainstorms, guiding ideation with proper strategic insights
- Collaborate on partner facing brief materials
- In partnership with client and Investment teams, brief selected media partners
- Adds critical insight to partnerships and leads media partner client recommendations
- Collaborate with Product Placement agency to extend below the line placements into branded content.
- Provides client service oversight throughout the process
- Help to create internal and external facing timelines for all phases of content project development
- Integrates with the media team to create distribution and optimization strategy
- Collaborate with Analytics team to develop measurement strategy for partnerships, focusing on brand KPIs
- Help develop and enforce departmental protocols and procedures
- Manage day-to-day team through all aspects of the planning and campaign execution cycle
- Maintain strong relationships with internal and external client teams, providing thought-leadership and insight for all larger portfolio wide projects (ex. Upfronts)
- Manage Associate Director, Supervisor, and Associate level work ensuring all timelines are being met, IOs are correctly completed, and ad serving/trafficking needs are met for content campaigns
- Oversee budgets, in tandem with Investment teams
Qualifications- 9+ years of media experience, including experience within a Branded Content role
- Experience in sports partnerships
- Previous management experience
- Ability to strategically plan and complete campaigns to align with clients' goals and critical metrics
- Strong understanding of analytics to inform and validate planning and strategy
- History of identifying Branded Content opportunities with media partners, presenting them to clients, and accomplishing
- Experience monitoring and recommending improvements to the entire Branded Content planning and execution process
- Ensuring people are adopting the best-in-class tools, techniques, and systems to deliver effective processes
- Excellent communication (written and verbal along with visual storytelling), diplomacy, relationship building and decision-making skills with the ability to think creatively
