Position Description:

CGI is seeking a senior leader within the Banking/Financial Services sector who is recognized as a trusted Systems Integration and Consulting professional.
Reporting to a Vice President, the Director of Consulting Services will be accountable for the growth and delivery of consulting services to Banking/Financial Services clients headquartered in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
A primary focus will be expanding sales and revenue by building strong business and IT relationships, with particular emphasis on the Global Wealth Management space. The successful candidate will identify opportunities, develop effective solutions, drive the sales process, and lead delivery of engagements.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

The Director of Consulting Services will be accountable for sales, revenue, delivery, and P&L performance for assigned accounts. This role leads a team of approximately 15-20 consultants locally, with access to additional global resources as required.
Responsibilities include:
• Leading transformation initiatives, including supporting clients transitioning to a Quality Engineering practice
• Establishing frameworks and operational foundations to enable successful transformation engagements
• Developing and expanding a pipeline of opportunities within target accounts
• Ensuring high-quality delivery and strong client satisfaction
• Building and strengthening relationships with strategic alliance partners
• Achieving targeted revenue and margin objectives
• Recruiting high-calibre talent through networking and outreach
• Supporting the professional growth and capability development of team members in alignment with market trends and client needs

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Experience with Quality Engineering tools such as Selenium, QuerySurge, Confidata, or similar
• Strong knowledge of business operations within Canadian and/or U.S. Banking/Financial Services organizations
• 10+ years of progressive experience in a technology consulting environment, with a demonstrated track record of:
o Building strong client relationships
o Driving consulting and systems integration sales
o Delivering high-quality projects and achieving client satisfaction
• 5+ years of experience in the Wealth Management domain
• Proven ability to build and maintain executive-level (C-suite) relationships within Ontario-based Banking/Financial Services organizations
• Experience leading proposals, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations for complex initiatives
• Demonstrated accountability for P&L and financial performance

Education
• Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
• An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is considered an asset

The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $145,000-$195,000. This role is an existing vacancy.**
