Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, AdTech Data Partnerships to lead our efforts to develop and manage strategic partnerships that enhance our data capabilities and drive growth for our Demand-Side Platform (DSP). You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to identify opportunities for collaboration, negotiate agreements, and ensure the successful integration of data solutions - use cases are inclusive of audiences, measurement, optimization - into our platform. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of digital advertising, data products and pricing, supply chain dynamics, and quality assurance processes, along with a passion for data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Partnership Development: Identify, evaluate, and establish partnerships with a diverse set of data providers to enhance the DSP's data offerings.
  • Negotiation and Contract Management: Lead negotiations for data partnership agreements, ensuring favorable terms and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Data Integration: Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate new data sources into the DSP, ensuring seamless functionality and performance.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape related to data partnerships in the digital advertising ecosystem.
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish KPIs to measure the success of data partnerships and regularly report on performance to senior management.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to align data partnership strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies that may impact supply quality and marketplace dynamics.
  • Thought Leadership: Represent PulsePoint at industry events, conferences, and forums to promote our data capabilities and partnerships.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Data Science, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in data partnerships, business development, or a related role within the digital advertising or technology industry.
  • Strong understanding of data privacy regulations and compliance (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
  • Proven track record of successfully negotiating and managing partnerships.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with programmatic advertising and DSP technologies is a plus.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team, even in situations where they are not the direct reporting manager.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.

Time zone:
  • 9am-6pm ET preferred, or start at 10am ET at the latest. We are open to hiring this as hybrid in our Newark office (283-299 Market Street, 4th Floor, Newark, NJ 07102) or fully remote; in-office strongly preferred

Target salary range: $160-175k base + 16-17.5k target annual bonus based on company and individual performance
