Overview

Le/la Responsable Amélioration Continue (CI Manager) dirigera les initiatives d'amélioration continue au sein de l'installation de maintenance et de réparation de wagons de GATX. Il sera le champion CI sur le site, garantissant l'adoption complète des composantes Sécurité, Qualité, Livraison et Coøt (SQDC), animera des événements Kaizen et Blitz générant des améliorations mesurables et durables, intégrera les pratiques 5S et pilotera le processus de Déploiement Stratégique (x-matrix) au sein des opérations du site. La personne doit être passionnée par la transformation des processus, la gestion des opérations, la stratégie et la résolution de problèmes basée sur les données.

The CI Manager will lead Continuous Improvement (CI) efforts at GATX's railcar repair maintenance facility. This role will serve as a site CI champion ensuring full adoption of Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost (SQDC) components, lead Kaizen and Blitz events that deliver measurable, sustainable improvements, embed 5S practices, and lead/manage the Strategy Deployment process (x-matrix) within site operations. The individual must be passionate about process transformation, operations management, strategy and data driven problem solving.

2) Diriger des projets Kaizen/Blitz pour générer des changements durables :

a) Analyser les données, identifier et définir les opportunités d'amélioration

b) Obtenir l'implication interfonctionnelle

c) Développer l'appropriation des résultats

d) Établir les données de référence, suivre et rapporter les améliorations réalisées pour garantir leur pérennité

e) Créer ou mettre à jour les instructions de travail spécifiques au site (SWI)

3) Mettre en œuvre et pérenniser le 5S via formation/coaching, création et maintien des standards visuels et audits structurés

4) Soutenir les initiatives stratégiques et les projets d'investissement du site visant l'excellence opérationnelle

a) Renforcer les compétences en enseignant aux équipes comment mener leurs propres événements Kaizen et autres méthodologies Lean

Qualifications

Formation et expérience requises/Education and/or Experience required (including certifications):

  • Diplôme universitaire en gestion des opérations, génie industriel, administration ou discipline pertinente requis
  • 5 ans d'expérience dans un rôle analytique ou de gestion d'installation, idéalement en environnement MRO ou industriel lourd
  • Certification Lean Six Sigma Green Belt ou supérieure préférée
  • Expérience avérée en influence et persuasion sans autorité hiérarchique directe
  • Certification en gestion de projet : un atout
