We are currently seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Director of Risk/PI Management who will be responsible for the overall risk factors that come into play at Austin Oaks Hospital. The Director of Risk Manager has a broad responsibility to ensure the quality of patient care and protect the facility's assets from loss. The Director of RM is responsible for coordinating the loss control efforts and advising management and administration on all potential sources of loss and for making recommendations to minimize or eliminate exposure. The structure and functions of the Quality Improvement and Risk Management Programs are designed so as to comply with guidelines and standards of the Joint Commission, CMS, and other regulatory agencies.

  • Required: Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field or equivalent experience.
  • Preferred: Master's degree in a healthcare-related field preferred. Training in healthcare compliance activities, healthcare safety/risk management, hospital performance improvement activities, and hospital administration preferred. CPHQ
