We are seeking a Digital Personalization Manager to lead the strategy and execution of data-driven personalization initiatives across digital channels. This role partners cross-functionally with Marketing, Experience Design, Analytics, and Digital teams to identify opportunities, deliver optimized customer experiences, and translate business requirements into compliant, accessible digital solutions.

The position combines ownership of personalization strategy and roadmap execution, end-to-end delivery leadership, and performance optimization. You will drive measurable business impact through data, experimentation, and continuous improvement, while managing stakeholders, prioritizing initiatives, and ensuring alignment with business goals.

 

Ideal candidates bring strong experience in digital marketing, personalization platforms, analytics, and CMS tools, along with a customer-centric mindset and the ability to translate insights into scalable, high-performing experiences.

Defines and develops marketing campaign strategies that strengthen the BMO brand, maximize revenue and optimize the customer experience. Works collaboratively with business/groups on the strategic development, execution and measurement of traditional and non-traditional customer-focused advertising, production, merchandising, and communications campaigns. Provides information and direction for media and creative development, and ensures brand and governance standards are maintained met in all solutions. Oversees the development of advertising, promotional and communications material. Collaborates with external agency partners to deliver business objectives.

  • Develops solutions and makes recommendations based on an understanding of the business strategy and stakeholder needs.
  • Provides advice and guidance to assigned business/group on implementation of solutions.
  • Supports the execution of strategic initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Builds effective relationships with internal/external stakeholders.
  • Breaks down strategic problems, and analyses data and information to provide insights and recommendations.
  • Designs and produces regular and ad-hoc reports, and dashboards.
  • Builds change management plans of varying scope and type; leads or participates in a variety of change management activities including readiness assessments, planning, stakeholder management, execution, evaluation, and sustainment of initiatives.
  • Makes recommendations to improve BMO processes and systems.
  • Executes work to deliver timely, accurate, and efficient service.
  • Ensures consistency in solutions and across marketing channels, media and platforms.
  • Works with business/group in the development and management of campaign budgets.
  • Collaborates with internal/external stakeholders to develop monitoring and tracking plans for external advertising initiatives.
  • Ensures compliance with internal frameworks, standards, guidelines and governance.
  • Focus is primarily on business/group within BMO; may have broader, enterprise-wide focus.
  • Provides specialized consulting, analytical and technical support.
  • Exercises judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules.
  • Works independently and regularly handles non-routine situations.
  • Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Typically between 5 - 8 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study.
  • Extensive experience in project management
  • Advertising and/or creative agency experience.
  • Experience in, and advanced knowledge of, the financial services industry.
  • Deep knowledge and technical proficiency gained through extensive education and business experience.

Salary:

$69,000.00 - $129,000.00

The above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type.

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.

BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
