Digital FI Innovation Mgr

Job Description Summary

Focuses on efficiently and effectively coordinating and executing standard controlling activities while ensuring compliance with global controlling procedures and guidelines. Plans and forecasts financial performance, conducts annual checks of allocation keys in planning tools, and manages internal sales and transfer pricing. Involves overseeing investment planning for tangible and intangible assets and uploading data into global systems like COSMOS, as well as preparing sales reporting for tax forecasts. In terms of reporting and analytics, entails delivering data, executing error corrections, preparing investment reports, and fulfilling specific reporting requirements, including non-financial KPIs. Supports various monthly and quarterly closing activities and contributes to continuous improvement through process optimization, automation, and the development of standard tools and reports.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of this role, Digital FI Innovation Manager are to:

  • Develop and deploy cutting-edge solutions that drive company growth through advanced data models, AI techniques, and process automation that unlock business insights;
  • Demonstrate strong EPM experience, preferably with Anaplan;
  • Partner with country and functional leaders at local and global levels (Finance, Commercial, PS, IT);
  • Employ a 'fit-for-purpose' approach to deploy innovative technologies that enable future sustainability and global scalability;
  • Transform how teams work by developing AI and digital technologies that streamline workflows and team activities;
  • Design and execute digital strategies that create new ways to deliver value to the organization;
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills by sharing a digital vision that galvanizes teams;
  • Constantly seek to develop digital skills through self-development and proactive behavior;

Lead Planning & Reporting processes by:

  • Showcase digital success to leaders that generate excitement and accelerate team transformation;
  • Lead and support digital planning activities throughout fiscal planning cycles;
  • Design and develop planning and predictive models that drive strategic efforts to steer the business;
  • Lead a global innovation coalition within the Finance community that drives a digital mindset agenda;
  • Lead explorative activities to improve processes through technology and other digital innovation;
  • Enable country and functional technology adoption through training and continuous support;

WHO YOU ARE

Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor Degree in Finance or IT related discipline required;


Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA and/or a CPA or CMA preferred;
  • Seven (10) years of relevant professional experience including working knowledge of SAP, SAP-BW, Anaplan, Azure, databricks, Microsoft Power Platform, and related BI technologies;


Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $112400-168600. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc.. This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant's location, market data/ranges, an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
