Osmose is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain secure, reusable enterprise delivery pipelines. This role automates software delivery across Python, .NET, Snowflake, and Salesforce platforms while improving deployment reliability, speed, security, and traceability. The position partners with application, data, security, and infrastructure teams to establish standardized CI/CD patterns, integrate DevSecOps controls, and enable adoption of modern software delivery practices.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain reusable CI/CD pipelines, templates, and automation components.
  • Automate build, test, packaging, deployment, and environment promotion processes.
  • Support delivery patterns for Python, .NET, Snowflake, and Salesforce workloads.
  • Integrate code quality, security, testing, and deployment validation controls into delivery pipelines.
  • Configure and support build agents, runners, artifact repositories, and pipeline integrations.
  • Implement and maintain artifact management, SAST, SCA, and secrets management solutions.
  • Troubleshoot complex build and deployment failures across environments.
  • Improve pipeline reliability, observability, performance, and auditability.
  • Establish engineering standards, documentation, and reusable delivery patterns.
  • Implement infrastructure-as-code and configuration automation solutions.
  • Support application releases and production deployments.
  • Partner with security teams to remediate vulnerabilities and optimize quality gates.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, release engineering, or software engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise CI/CD platforms and Git-based workflows.
  • Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar languages.
  • Experience designing automated build, test, and deployment frameworks.
  • Knowledge of artifact, dependency, configuration, and secrets management practices.
  • Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Jenkins.
  • Experience with Python packaging and .NET build processes.
  • Experience supporting Snowflake deployments or database automation.
  • Experience with Salesforce DX and Salesforce CLI.
  • Experience with Terraform, Bicep, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms.
  • Experience implementing blue-green, canary, or other advanced deployment strategies.

Technical Environment
  • CI/CD & Source Control: Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Git.
  • Artifact Management: JFrog Artifactory, Azure Artifacts, Sonatype Nexus.
  • Security: Checkmarx, Black Duck, secret scanning, container security tools.
  • Code Quality & Testing: SonarQube, SonarCloud, automated testing frameworks.
  • Secrets & Cloud: Azure Key Vault, HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation.
