Qualifications

• 3+ years in DevOps, DevSecOps, or SRE roles.
• Strong AWS experience, especially with ECS and Terraform.
• Experience implementing or improving monitoring systems and incident workflows.
• Comfort with scripting in Python and Bash for automation tools.
• Familiarity with Postgres in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the AWS infrastructure including ECS/Fargate, RDS/Postgres, and more.
• Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and implement Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform.
• Set up monitoring and observability tools to manage alerting and performance dashboards.
• Implement secure-by-default practices and support compliance initiatives like SOC 2 and HIPAA.
• Write automation scripts for tasks like backups and deployments using Python/Bash.
• Assist with Postgres database operations including tuning, access control, and migrations.
• Prepare for future scaling by laying groundwork for container orchestration solutions like EKS or Kubernetes.
