This Hybrid Role (in office Tues-Wed-Thurs) is based in: Wayne, PA, Dallas/Ft. Worth, TX or Charlotte, NC.In this role, you will: - Build and mature Infrastructure as Code practicesacross Workplace platforms using Terraform and Atmos, enabling teams to manage systems "as code."
- Design and operate CI/CD pipelines (primarily GitHub Actions) aligned to GTO standards, including quality gates, promotion patterns, and deployment safety mechanisms.
- Identify, evaluate, and operationalize Terraform providers and integrations for Workplace platforms; guide teams on provider usage, patterns, and lifecycle management.
- Onboard platform teams to Terraform/Atmos and GitHub-based delivery, including repository structure, workflow templates, environment strategy, and guardrails.
- Create shared automation frameworks and self-servicetooling to reduce manual operational work and improve delivery speed and consistency.
- Develop integrations and automation services using APIs and scripting (PowerShell/Python) across endpoint, mobility, VDI, and Microsoft 365 platforms.
- Improve release quality and platformstability through automated validation, testing patterns, observability, and disciplined release governance.
- Partner closely with platform engineers, security, infrastructure, and networking teams to embed automation-first practices and standard engineering patterns.
- This role is also expected to challenge the status quo, drive process improvements, and champion a strong DevOps and engineering culture across Workplace Engineering.
Technical Requirements: - Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions and/or Azure DevOps).
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Atmos, or similar frameworks).
- Proficiency in software development
- Experience integrating systems using REST APIs
- Solid understanding of Git-based workflows, code review, and reusable modules/templates.
- Familiarity with monitoring, telemetry, and operational observability concepts.
- Experience supporting enterprise endpoint or collaboration platforms is a plus (Windows, macOS, MDM, VDI, Microsoft 365).
What it takes: - Undergraduate degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- 3-5+ years of relevant experience in DevOps, automation, or platform engineering roles.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work across teams, influence standards, and enable others through documentation and coaching.
- Willingness to be learn and work with various languages.
- Strong planning, organization, and delivery discipline.
