Description:

Development Coordinator

NewYork-Presbyterian seeks a Development Coordinator based at its corporate headquarters near Grand Central Terminal in midtown Manhattan. This position will be responsible for the qualification, engagement, cultivation, and solicitation of donors in support of the mission of NYP. They will manage key relationships within the NYP donor base and are expected to identify, qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward these donors.

The Development Coordinator will engage in approved fundraising strategies including partnering with physicians to build a culture of philanthropy at the Hospital, working to cultivate and sustain relationships with donors to meet our campaign fundraising goals, and providing strategic support on special projects. In order to be successful, this individual will need to work collaboratively with other staff in the Office of Development and be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. They should be a strong writer, communicator, and relationship builder.

This is a hybrid role, with an in office requirement.

Preferred Criteria
  • Excellent organizational, oral, and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Computer literate with working knowledge of MS Office Applications
  • Good organizational abilities, strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in writing

Salary Range:

$80,000-$96,000/Annual
