Job Description

Summary
This position designs, builds, and optimizes data warehousing solutions to support analytics and business intelligence. They develop and maintain ETL workflows, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and performance across systems. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions that improve accessibility and reporting. Developers also evaluate and implement tools and technologies to strengthen infrastructure reliability and efficiency

Essential Functions:

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT workflows.
• Build and optimize data models for reporting and analytics.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance across systems.
• Collaborate with business analysts and data scientists to deliver data solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce best practices.
• Monitor system health, performance, capacity, and availability using cloud-native tools.
• Help implement scripts and automation for routine tasks.
• Assist with basic troubleshooting of cloud-hosted applications and services.
• Assist data engineers and analysts by ensuring stable environments and reliable data operations.
• Monitor data pipelines and scheduled jobs for failures or performance issues.

Additional functions:

• ETL Tools: Experience with platforms such as Microsoft SSIS, Salesforce Sales Cloud (DB Amp or MuleSoft preferred) and Salesforce Data Cloud 360 (Preferred)
• Understanding of Microsoft Fabric
• Proficiency in programming languages and API development (Java, C#, Python, JavaScript; REST/gRPC) with strong understanding of architectural patterns and system design to support Data Science initatives

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree Business, Computer Science, Finance, Information Systems or related field.
• 3 years experience in data engineering or warehousing.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) tools.
• Understanding of star schemas, snowflake schemas, and dimensional modeling for analytics.
• Exposure to cloud platforms.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Understanding of data governance and security practices.

Physical Demands
Lift and carry 25 lbs. frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use, *patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
