Full Job Description
Job Summary
The role of Demand Planner plays an integral role in contributing to GAF's success. This individual will improve the planning and execution of GAF's Supply Chain through collaborative and effective forecasting for key markets and products.

Essential Duties
  • Develop, implement, and publish demand forecasts for primary manufactured product categories, geographies, and third-party purchased products.
  • Analyze market data, sales pipeline information, and historical sales trends to create accurate demand plans.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and other key business leaders to align on a consensus demand plan.
  • Implement and maintain demand forecasting models, methods, and tools to improve accuracy.
  • Focus on short-term (3–6 months) and mid-term (6–24 months) forecast horizons, updated on a monthly basis.
  • Track, monitor, and adjust forecasts based on actual volumes, quoting activity, and key market intelligence.
  • Establish and share metrics to improve forecast accuracy, service levels, cost savings, and working capital performance.
  • Work closely with Supply Planning to ensure service level targets are met and inventory is effectively managed.
  • Drive value within the Integrated Supply Chain by enhancing collaboration with customers and optimizing end-to-end planning processes.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to understand industry drivers and translate them into actionable demand plans.
  • Facilitate forecast review meetings for assigned geographies and product categories.
  • Act as the primary contact for external customers and partners, incorporating their data to refine demand processes.
  • Leverage customer feedback and data to improve forecast accuracy.
  • Support the implementation and optimization of SAP IBP for Demand Planning.
  • Maintain and update master data relevant to demand planning processes.
  • Use system capabilities to monitor, report, and act on key forecasting metrics.

Qualifications Required
  • Bachelor’s Degree Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Engineering or any related field required
  • 2+ years of related experience in a Supply Chain/Logistics, Demand Planning, Analytics, and/or a high-volume manufacturing, distribution, and production planning environment.

Base salary and/or rate of pay ranges listed are exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses. Individual compensation offers will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, relevant candidate experience and skill, education, and/or qualifications.

Base Salary Range: $84,000-$115,500
