Demand Generation Manager

Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada • Marketing

Role Overview:

We're looking for a Demand Generation Manager who can build the marketing engine behind our STAR business. This role is responsible for turning marketing programs into qualified pipeline by connecting campaigns, content, lifecycle marketing, events, and customer engagement into a repeatable growth engine.

You'll work directly with the Head of Marketing and partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Product to execute integrated marketing programs across email, web, events, webinars, content, social, and marketing automation. Success in this role comes from understanding how marketing contributes to pipeline, customer engagement, and business growth - not just launching campaigns.

This is a highly hands-on role for someone who enjoys building, testing, and improving. You'll take ownership of campaigns from idea through execution, measure performance, and continuously optimize based on data. If you enjoy creating marketing that drives measurable business outcomes, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Own:

You'll own the day-to-day execution and continuous improvement of the STAR marketing engine. From campaign planning through performance analysis, you'll help connect marketing activities into a repeatable system that generates qualified pipeline and supports long-term customer growth.

Build and execute campaigns
  • Plan, build, and launch integrated marketing campaigns across email, web, webinars, events, social, content, and marketing automation.
  • Create campaign assets including emails, landing pages, forms, and supporting content.
  • Partner with internal teams and external agencies to deliver campaigns on time and optimize performance.

Improve funnel performance
  • Build nurture programs and automated customer journeys that move prospects through the funnel.
  • Improve lead management, lifecycle stages, lead scoring, and marketing automation.
  • Monitor campaign performance, identify opportunities to improve conversion, and optimize programs over time.

Help keep the engine running
  • Support webinar and event execution, including promotion and follow-up
  • Manage newsletters, blog publishing, and content distribution
  • Keep campaigns organized, on track, and moving
  • Use AI and modern marketing tools to improve execution and efficiency

Strengthen Customer Engagement
  • Develop customer communications including newsletters, product updates, webinars, and educational campaigns.
  • Partner with Customer Success to support customer engagement, product adoption, and expansion opportunities.

What Success Looks Like:
  • Marketing consistently contributes to a qualified pipeline and measurable business growth.
  • Leads are nurtured, followed up with and converted more effectively over time
  • Content gets reused strategically and contributes to pipeline generation
  • Marketing becomes more efficient, data-informed, and mature as we scale

What We're Looking For:
  • You're someone who enjoys building, testing, and improving - not just planning
  • You're comfortable working across multiple channels and juggling moving pieces
  • You understand how marketing connects to pipeline, conversion, and revenue outcomes
  • You're organized, proactive, and able to keep projects moving forward
  • You take ownership and pride in shipping great work without a lot of red tape
  • You enjoy digging into performance data to understand what's working and where we can improve

Experience & Tools
  • 3-5 years of experience in demand generation, B2B SaaS marketing, or campaign execution
  • Experience executing multi-channel campaigns end-to-end, including webinars and event marketing
  • Hands-on experience with HubSpot or similar CRM / automation tools
  • Comfortable building landing pages, publishing content in a CMS, and managing campaign assets independently
  • Strong copywriting instincts - you're comfortable writing emails, landing pages, and campaign messaging that gets people to take action
  • Familiarity with marketing attribution and reporting, especially around SQLs, conversion, and pipeline
  • Experience using AI tools to improve marketing workflows and execution. Bonus if you've experimented with automations, workflows, or AI agents
  • A strong eye for design - you don't need to be a designer, but you know what looks good and feel confident working in Canva to create high-conversion assets
  • Self-sufficient, organized, and comfortable moving quickly, testing ideas, and continuously improving performance
