Full Job Description
The Dean of Nursing is responsible for providing strategic leadership and oversight for the Nursing Programs (all levels) in U.S. Operations. The role involves ensuring academic excellence, regulatory compliance, and program outcomes that align with institutional and accreditation standards. The Dean will oversee the Directors of Nursing at both campuses, ensuring consistency in program delivery, student support, and faculty development. This position will collaborate closely with the Vice President of Academic Affairs and the Vice President of Nursing to advance the nursing programs and ensure high-quality educational experiences for all students.

Minimum Requirements:

Education:
  • Doctorate in Nursing (PhD, DNP) or related field from an accredited institution. A master's degree in Nursing is acceptable with significant experience.

Licensure:
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida or eligibility for licensure.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in nursing education, with at least 3 years in a leadership or administrative role.
  • Experience overseeing multiple nursing programs or campuses is strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience in program accreditation and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • A track record of improving program outcomes, including NCLEX pass rates and student retention.

Skills:
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across departments.
  • Ability to express oneself correctly, accurately, and effectively, both verbally and in writing in English. Spanish a plus.
