Dealer Commercial Services Senior Relationship Manager - South Mid Atlantic

The Difference You Make:

Dealer Commercial Services (“DCS”) delivers integrated capital and banking solutions to automotive dealers nationwide, supporting dealer partners through a broad platform that includes floorplan financing, syndicated lending, commercial real estate solutions, treasury and merchant services, and other commercial banking capabilities. The DCS SeniorRelationship Manager is responsible for prospecting for new commercial business and maintaining a portfolio of existing clients to maintain and grow the relationship with Santander. 

Position Summary

 

  • Discusses customer needs, problems, or complaints, and arranges for meetings between customers or prospective customers and representatives of various company functional areas.

  • Provides consistent quality customer service to both internal and external customers that meets or exceeds Santander's standards.

  • Represents the organization in various civic and community functions to further enhance the bank's image and develop additional business opportunities.

  • Assists in the implementation and coordination of the companywide business development call program.

  • Pre-qualifies clients for market segment.

  • Works with strategic partners to identify cross sell opportunities with existing and new clients and prospects.

  • Assists in the development and implementation of a strategic plan for business development across market.

  • Calls on numerous local referral sources to generated business.

  • Solicits new business and manages ongoing relationships.

  • Focuses on improving brand awareness.

  • Documents calls and results and makes reports to management as required.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance, or equivalent field; or equivalent work experience - Required.

 

Professional Experience

 

  • 9+ years in Commercial Automotive Financial Services including Floorplan, Capital Loan and Real Estate Lending - Required.

Skills

  • Proficiency in financial statement analysis, including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow evaluation - Required.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Treasury Services and bank cross-sell products, including interest rate swaps and related treasury management solutions. - Required.

  • Willingness and flexibility to travel by car and/or air within the assigned territory as needed - Required.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft office products including Excel, Powerpoint, Teams, Outlook and Word - Required.

  • Expertise in complex contract negotiation and contract creation - Required.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

  • Ability to analyze emerging technologies, market trends, and competitive landscapes.

  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and logistics across stakeholders.

  • Self-motivated and sales-driven leader with a proven ability to drive pipeline growth and achieve targets.

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including strong presentation and public speaking abilities.

  • Strong relationship management and influencing skills, with the ability to motivate stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.

Minimum:

$123,750.00 USD

Maximum:

$200,000.00 USD
