The OpportunityWe are looking for a Deal Desk Analyst on the Americas Sales Operations team in Austin, TX. You will be the operational backbone of our sales and renewals motion in the North America region. You'll partner closely with Account Executives, Renewal Managers, and Legal on deal structure to maximize contract value. You'll be managing everything from CPQ quote configuration and order form generation to contract coordination and e-signature execution. This is a high-volume, high-impact role built for someone who thinks in systems, loves optimizing processes, and actively uses AI tools to work smarter. What You'll Do- Own the end-to-end order management process for assigned Americas opportunities, including quote creation, approval routing, order form generation, DocuSign/ CongaSign e-signature tools, and Salesforce CPQ.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Sales and Renewals teams on deal structuring, quote configuration, and contract execution questions in the #dealdesk-na Slack channel and via Salesforce Cases.
- Partner with Legal, Finance, and Revenue Operations to obtain required approvals and ensure deals are structured in compliance with Planview's revenue recognition policies and commercial terms.
- Configure and troubleshoot CPQ quotes, including license type swaps, co-term amendments, multi-year ramp structures, reseller/distributor routing, and custom billing schedules.
- Coordinate DocuSign and Conga signature workflows, reassigning and tracking execution status to meet deadlines.
- Support account data hygiene in Salesforce, including account reconciliations, data migrations, entity corrections, and opportunity management.
- Identify and document process gaps, recurring errors, and workflow inefficiencies - and
proactively propose or implement improvements to reduce manual effort. - Leverage AI tools (e.g., Claude, Copilot, or similar) to draft communications, summarize deal context, automate routine tasks, and accelerate turnaround on high-volume requests.
- Assist in driving Closed Won bookings by ensuring all order forms are correctly executed,
countersigned, and uploaded in a timely manner. - Collaborate with the global Deal Desk team (EMEA, APAC) to share best practices, contribute to playbooks, and support global team coverage, as needed.
What You'll Bring- 2+ years of experience in Deal Desk, Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or a related role at a SaaS or technology company.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ, and Salesforce Case Management
- Familiarity with contract execution workflows - DocuSign, Conga, or similar e-signature and document generation tools.
- Strong understanding of SaaS deal structures, including renewals, amendments, co-terms, multi-year ramps, and reseller/channel transactions.
- Demonstrated process orientation - you don't just complete tasks, you think about how the work flows, where it breaks down, and how to make it better.
- Tech-savvy and quick to learn new systems; comfortable navigating multiple platforms
simultaneously and building fluency in tools beyond your current stack. - Comfortable adopting AI tools as part of daily support workflows to enhance productivity, improve response quality, and support continuous learning and field enablement.
- Ability to manage a high volume of concurrent requests with accuracy and urgency, particularly during quarter-end periods.
- Clear, confident communicator - comfortable fielding questions from Sales, Legal, and Finance simultaneously in a fast-paced Slack-driven environment.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to catching errors, flagging risks, and following up without being asked.
- Brings a positive, can-do attitude and genuine desire to help.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience building or improving Deal Desk processes, playbooks, or SOPs.
- Hands-on experience using AI tools (Claude, Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar) to automate workflows, generate documents, or analyze data in an operational context.
- Background in billing, accounts receivable, or order-to-cash processes.
