Maximus is seeking a Database Engineer.
This role is hybrid in San Antonio, TX and requires a Secret security clearance.

Job-Specific Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide subject matter proficiency for work described in the task.
- Responsible for providing analytical skills to support process improvement, specialized studies, and definition of requirements.
- Typical duties include analysis, planning, developing requirements documents, building functional models, developing procedures, developing functional architectures, and other related management and technical duties.
- Requires expertise in specialty area.
- At least 10 years of overall experience in the functional area.
- A Bachelor degree in related field required. Master's degree may substitute for 2 years of experience.
Job-Specific Minimum Requirements:
- Secret Clearance required.
- Ten (10) years combined experience in each of the following for relational and cloud-based databases:
a. Database development and software engineering/development
b. Database Design and Data Modeling
c. Requirements analysis/generation
d. Developing systems and software architectures
- Must have 5 years' experience working with Enterprise DB.
- 7 years of experience with PostgreSQL
- Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining automated installation scripts.
- Demonstrated experience developing database solutions in a multi-tiered environment.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose, resolve, and implement solutions for complex enterprise database ingest and export challenges, delivering timely and reliable outcomes across diverse external data sources, environments, and enclaves.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, external stakeholders, and customers, ensuring alignment, transparency, and shared understanding across all phases of the project.
