Database Administrator
Location: National Capital Region
Clearance: TS/SCI Clearance
Salary: $125,000 - $145,000
We are actively seeking a TS/SCI Database Administrator to support our clients at the Department of War (DoW).
Note: This position is contingent upon contract award. We are currently seeking qualified candidates to include in our proposal for an upcoming government contract. Applicants selected may be contacted for further steps if the contract is awarded.
Work Description:
The Database Administrator role requires strong analytical skills, experience managing enterprise databases and information systems, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a highly regulated and security-conscious environment. The position also supports process improvement initiatives and development of reports, briefings, and recommendations for senior leadership.
Responsibilities: The Database Administator will support tasks such as:
-Operate and maintain the classified ACES web-based system.
-Prepare, validate, and submit treaty-related notifications and reports.
-Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of all system transactions.
-Maintain records and audit trails in accordance with applicable policies and procedures.
-Monitor and maintain information contained within the IRSS database.
-Maintain data integrity, consistency, and accuracy across assigned systems.
-Perform routine audits and validation of records and submissions.
-Generate reports, metrics, and trend analyses to support leadership decision-making.
-Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and user guidance documentation.
Requirements:
-U.S. Citizen.
-Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
-Bachelor's degree in one of the following disciplines: Information Systems; Database Management; Computer Science; Information Technology; Business Administration; Data Analytics; Public Administration; or Related field
-Experience administering and maintaining enterprise information systems. -Knowledge of database management principles and best practices. -Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. -Experience performing data validation and quality assurance. -Ability to analyze large volumes of information and identify trends or discrepancies. -Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
Preferred Qualifications:
-Experience supporting Department of Defense organizations. -Experience supporting arms control, treaty compliance, inspections, or international agreements. -Experience working with classified information systems. -Experience with ACES, IRSS, or similar government reporting systems. -Experience with SQL and database querying tools. -Experience developing dashboards, metrics, and executive reports. -Knowledge of records management and audit requirements.
