The work: - Administer Oracle and Postgres databases Debug Oracle and Postgres databases Patch and upgrade Oracle and Postgres databases
- Conduct performance tuning on Oracle and Postgres databases Resolve issues with Oracle and Postgres databases
- Ideal candidate will have experience identifying and resolving performance or availability issues in databases
- You will provide guidance and support to application developers in the creation and deployment of DML or DDL scripts in support of application maintenance or deployment
Here's what you need:- Active Top Secret clearance and willingness to work 100% onsite in Washington, DC
- Minimum of 5 years of DBA experience administering Oracle or Postgres databases (ideally both)
- Experience with AWS/RDS/S3/DMS
- Experience working with and debugging Oracle/Postgres databases, patching and upgrades
- Experience conducting performance tuning and restoring on Oracle/Postgres databases
- Experience with Oracle/Postgres database backup/recovery tools and techniques, such as Oracle RMAN and Flashback
- Experience configuring Oracle/Postgres databases to meet federal security guidelines
