The Opportunity As a Data Scientist on the Monetization Growth organization, you will be a critical part of the team building delightful experiences driving customer success and tangible business growth. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about using statistical, analytical, and machine learning techniques to extract, analyze, and interpret large volumes of data, thereby transforming it into meaningful information to drive decision-making and optimize outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a combination of strong technical skills along with the ability to work with a diverse, distributed multi-functional team.
What you'll Do - Conduct sound statistical analysis of user revenue growth programs and A/B experiments to recognize patterns that lead to actionable insights. Identify biases in data collection and observation.
- Interpret the results and then simplify and synthesize them for partners, using a wide range of visualization and storytelling techniques.
- Be a specialist of stitching and calibrating sparse and noisy semi-structured or unstructured data across various data sources.
- Partner with experts across multiple functions to understand customer behavior and pain-points and use insights to make recommendations to improve product and customer experience.
What you need to succeed - Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field of study. Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree with relevant practical experience.
- Minimum 4+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role.
- Experience with hypothesis or A/B test analyses with in-depth understanding of the statistical concepts involved.
- Hands-on experience working with large data sets. Prior experience with a big data platform like Databricks, Apache Spark or Apache Hadoop.
- Expert in at least one programming or data manipulation language, preferably Python and SQL.
- Data storytelling skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication.

Expected Pay Range:Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $109,000 -- $200,700 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In California, the pay range for this position is $138,600 - $200,700
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
