Full Job Description
We are seeking a Data Platform Engineer to help support and expand the company's enterprise data platform built on Microsoft Fabric. This role will assist in developing data pipelines, maintaining trusted datasets, supporting business reporting, and helping provide the foundation for advanced analytics and AI initiatives. The ideal candidate is passionate about data, cloud technologies, and analytics and is looking to grow their skills in modern data engineering, Microsoft Fabric, and enterprise data platforms.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist in building and maintaining Microsoft Fabric data solutions, including OneLake, Lakehouse, Warehouse, Data Factory, and Power BI assets
  • Support the development and maintenance of data pipelines that integrate information from SAP, operational systems, and other business applications
  • Help create and maintain data models, datasets, and curated data products used by reporting and analytics teams.
  • Assist with data validation, quality monitoring, and troubleshooting data issues.
  • Support data ingestion processes, including scheduled and incremental data loads.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and IT teams to understand reporting and analytics requirements.
  • Participate in testing, documentation, and deployment of new data platform capabilities.
  • Help monitor pipeline performance and reliability.
  • Contribute to data governance, security, and data management initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in data engineering, business intelligence, analytics, database development, or a related technical role.

Other Skills and Abilities:
  • Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.

  • Understanding of supply chain, inventory, procurement, sales, or finance data.
  • Microsoft certifications related to Fabric, Power BI, Azure, or data engineering are a plus
