Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Consultant to design, implement, and support enterprise Data Loss Prevention solutions across endpoint, email, and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Microsoft Purview, Proofpoint, Netskope, and endpoint security technologies, along with expertise in DLP architecture, policy implementation, incident response, and security operations. This role requires strong technical, analytical, and communication skills to deliver enterprise security solutions while supporting client environments and maintaining compliance with security standards.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, architect, implement, and support enterprise Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions for endpoint, email, and cloud environments.
• Deploy, configure, and manage Microsoft Purview DLP, Proofpoint DLP, Netskope DLP, and other enterprise DLP platforms.
• Configure DLP policies, scheduled scans, scan exclusions, and data protection controls based on client requirements.
• Monitor DLP environments, investigate incidents, perform remediation activities, and ensure ongoing operational effectiveness.
• Lead DLP implementation projects, including installation, configuration, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Evaluate, analyze, and investigate malware using open-source and vendor-provided security tools.
• Analyze security events, network traffic, vulnerabilities, and potential threats to determine severity and appropriate response.
• Resolve client issues by performing corrective actions or escalating incidents according to established procedures.
• Utilize ticketing systems and follow standard operating procedures to meet Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements.
• Perform daily operational activities, including monitoring, reporting, documentation, and shift handover activities.
• Communicate technical findings and security recommendations to clients and internal technical teams.
• Collaborate with security analysts and engineering teams to develop effective customer security solutions.
• Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge-sharing resources.
• Ensure compliance with organizational security policies, standards, and general security controls.

Required Qualifications
• 8-10 years of experience implementing and supporting Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions.
• Extensive experience designing, deploying, and managing endpoint and email DLP technologies.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview DLP, Proofpoint DLP, Netskope DLP, or similar enterprise DLP platforms.
• Experience implementing and managing enterprise DLP projects from design through production support.
• Experience configuring DLP policies, scheduled scans, exclusions, and security controls.
• Experience with endpoint security technologies such as CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Microsoft Defender, or similar XDR/EDR platforms.
• Strong understanding of security operations, incident response, threat analysis, and vulnerability management.
• Experience analyzing malware and security events using open-source and commercial security tools.
• Experience working with ticketing systems and supporting SLA-driven operational environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while supporting enterprise security operations.

Preferred Qualifications
• Microsoft Purview Data Loss Prevention (DLP) certification.
• Vendor certifications for Proofpoint, Netskope, or other enterprise DLP platforms.
• Experience with Extended Detection and Response (XDR) and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) technologies.
• Experience working within Security Operations Center (SOC) environments.
• Familiarity with enterprise security frameworks, compliance standards, and information security best practices.
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise cybersecurity and data protection initiatives.
