Data & Integration Developer to design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable data integration flows across our enterprise ecosystem. The ideal candidate must have a robust background in data engineering combined with
at least 3-5 years of dedicated experience integrating SAP systems (such as SAP S/4HANA or ECC) with various non-SAP cloud platforms, third-party SaaS applications, and on-premises databases.
You will play a pivotal role in bridging siloed data environments, ensuring real-time business operations run smoothly, and maintaining a high standard of data quality and governance.
Key Responsibilities- IntegrationDevelopment: Design, build, and deploy end-to-end integrationsolutions connecting SAP and non-SAP environments using modern enterpriseintegration patterns.
- SAPIntegration Pipeline: Configure and develop integration flows (iFlows)using tools like SAP Integration Suite / Cloud Integration (CPI),SAP API Management, or SAP PI/PO.
- DataPipelines & ETL: Develop and optimize scalable data pipelines andETL processes to sync, replicate, and transform complex business data.
- APIManagement: Design, build, and secure RESTful APIs, OData services,and SOAP endpoints. Enforce API versioning, proper authentication (OAuth2,certificates), and throttling policies.
- MessageFormats & Mapping: Implement message mappings, schema definitions,and data transformations utilizing XML, JSON, and EDI protocols (e.g.,X12, EDIFACT).
- CleanCore & Best Practices: Follow "Clean Core" architecturalprinciples, consuming standard SAP APIs and business events to ensureupgrade-stable, side-by-side extensibility.
- Monitoring& Support: Monitor active integration pipelines, conductroot-cause analysis on performance bottlenecks or interface failures, andapply optimization patches.
- Collaboration: Partner with Enterprise Architects, SAP Functional leads, and businessstakeholders to translate complex requirements into robust technicalspecifications.
Required Skills & Qualifications- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in data engineering, datapipeline development, or application integration.
- MandatorySAP Expertise: 3+ years of direct, hands-on experience buildingintegrations within the SAP ecosystem using SAP CPI / Integration Suite.
- TechnicalProtocols: Deep understanding of OData services, REST/SOAP APIs,IDocs, RFCs, and event-driven architecture (e.g., SAP Event Mesh orKafka).
- DataFormats: Exceptional proficiency working with XML, JSON, and flat-filedata processing. Experience with standard EDI financial/logisticstransactions is highly preferred.
- Scripting: Solid foundational scripting or coding experience (e.g., Groovy scriptingfor CPI mappings, JavaScript, SQL, or Python).
- SecurityStandards: Good grasp of integration security, including managingdigital certificates, SSH keys, encryption/decryption, and OAuth tokens.
- ProblemSolving: Proven ability to troubleshoot intricate integration defectsand network connectivity problems across hybrid cloud/on-premenvironments.
Preferred/Nice-to-Have Skills- Hands-onexposure to ABAP development or Core Data Services (CDS) views.
- Experiencewith major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) data pipelines (e.g.,Azure Data Factory).
- Familiaritywith legacy migration (e.g., moving interfaces from SAP PI/PO to SAPBTP/CPI).
Relevant certifications in SAP Integration Suite or general Cloud/Integration architecture.
