Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end delivery of data integration solutions from requirements through deployment and operationalization, connecting internal and external systems, applications, Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), and data services to support operational and analytical use cases.

Develop and optimize data pipelines, workflows, and transformation processes to ensure data is delivered in a timely, consistent, reliable manner across platforms and business units.

Analyze source systems and datasets to define integration requirements, identify data quality issues affecting integrated data flows, and recommend improvements to standardization, consistency, and usability of corporate data.

Create, refine, and maintain logical and physical data models that support new and existing business processes, and enable consistent downstream consumption.

Develop and maintain API-based integrations (e.g., REST/GraphQL or other service-oriented patterns), including integration specifications, interface/data contracts, versioning expectations, and lineage documentation, while ensuring operational support documentation is maintained.

Implement automation and orchestration approaches to streamline data movement, reduce manual effort, and improve repeatability and resilience of integration processes.

Own operational stewardship for integration services (monitoring, reliability, security controls, issue management, and root-cause analysis), proactively manage integration dependencies and data risks, and communicate operational health, risks, and remediation actions to stakeholders.

Lead the development and maintenance of data integration patterns, reference architectures, and reusable components (e.g., data virtualization/warehouse/cloud integration patterns), evaluating emerging integration technologies and trends to improve delivery efficiency, productivity, and long-term maintainability, while ensuring alignment with BCER standards.

Support internal and external data sharing initiatives by ensuring integrations and datasets comply with governance, privacy, and security requirements.

Contribute to enterprise data cataloguing, metadata, and lineage practices by maintaining documentation and integration artifacts that improve discoverability, stewardship, and supportability of trusted data products.

Use Git (or equivalent) version control and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) release practices to manage integration code, configuration, and deployment artifacts; apply disciplined change management, documentation, validation/testing, and operational readiness practices for all integration work.

Provide technical direction and quality review of contractor-delivered integration components, ensuring deliverables align with standards and operational readiness expectations.
