Full Pay Range: $66,541.02 to $99,803.86
Actual pay will be based on various factors, such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, proficiency for the role, and internal equity. In addition to base pay, Kwik Trip gives 40% of pre-tax profits back to our coworkers with bonuses ranging from 8-12% of each coworker's gross annual wage depending on company profitability and offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401k, paid time off, and more.
This position is not sponsorship eligible Data Governance Analyst 2 - Data Governance - La Crosse, WI: Kwik Trip's Data Governance Office has a unique opportunity for an experienced full-time Data Governance Analyst. In this role, you will collaborate with business and technical stewards across the organization to support enterprise-wide projects and drive master data enhancements that help deliver trusted data. You will analyze data to support data quality initiatives and reporting. You will build data governance documentation, including metadata, data lineage, and lifecycle maps. Additionally, you will serve as a subject matter expert on Master Data Management principles and promote data governance best practices and master data strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with scrum teams to support backlog prioritization and issue tracking
- Translate complex business requirements into actionable requirements for user stories
- Serve as the subject matter expert on Master Data Management concepts like data domains, survivorship, duplicate resolution, golden records, etc.
- Extract and analyze data from various company systems to support data quality and profiling efforts and the creation of new standards
- Lead Data Governance reporting efforts through use of tools like Power BI
- Create process and lifecycle maps to identify data dependencies, drive consistency, and identify improvement opportunities
- Document and maintain data lineage, data glossary and metadata for Master Data projects
- Support Master data software upgrades through planning and completion of User Acceptance Testing
- Promote data governance best practices and master data strategy
- Support master data access requests and perform periodic audits
- Advancing the use of AI technology to supporting ongoing Data Governance efforts
- Provide exceptional service to our internal business and technical partners
Qualifications:
- Required: 3-5 years' experience in Data Governance, Data Management, or Data & AI related field
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Management, Information Systems, or related field
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
- Understanding of relational database concepts including SQL
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities
- Data-savvy problem solver with a curious mindset
- Demonstrated experience of project leadership skills
- Track record of building strong, collaborative relationships
- Strong independent judgment with the ability to assess issues and recommend appropriate solutions
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to facilitate discussions with a variety of teams
- CDMP Certification is a plus!
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, daytime hours; weekends as needed
