About the Role- Job Title:Data Engineer
- Location:Seattle 5 Days Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Design, build, and optimize scalable ETL pipelines using AWS Glue.
- Develop and manage data workflows and orchestration using Managed Airflow (MWAA).
- Write and optimize SQL and Python/PySpark scripts for data transformation and processing.
- Architect and maintain data storage solutions using AWS Redshift and S3.
- Implement and manage data cataloging, governance, and security using AWS Glue and Lake Formation.
- Collaborate with analytics teams to support reporting and visualization using QuickSight and Tableau.
- Automate infrastructure deployment using AWS CDK and AWS Build Tools.
- Ensure high data quality, performance, and reliability across all data processes.
- Drive best practices for data engineering, including CI/CD, monitoring, and documentation.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development and knowledge sharing.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in data engineering, ETL development, or similar roles.
- Experience working a lead role.
- Expertise in AWS data technologies, including AWS Glue, Redshift, S3, and Lake Formation.
- Strong programming skills in SQL, Python, and PySpark.
- Hands-on experience with data pipeline orchestration using Managed Airflow (MWAA).
- Knowledge of data modeling, warehousing concepts, and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with AWS CDK and AWS Build Tools for infrastructure automation.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments.
