YOUR CONTRIBUTION MAKES A POSITIVE IMPACT As part of the AI Infrastructure and Data team, you will oversee the delivery of data initiatives from scoping through deployment and value tracking. You will work closely with IT, BI, AI, analytics and business teams, as well as with vendors.
Main responsibilities - Manage the portfolio of data initiatives by maintaining an integrated view of requests, priorities, capacity, milestones, risks and dependencies.
- Assess and scope initiatives based on their value, feasibility, complexity and alignment with GIRO's strategic direction.
- Prioritize work and allocate capacity in collaboration with the various stakeholders.
- Coordinate the end-to-end delivery of data ingestion initiatives, data marts and analytics projects.
- Ensure clear communication, define acceptance criteria and facilitate knowledge transfer.
- Establish predictable delivery practices by applying standards, processes and governance mechanisms.
- Measure and communicate progress, service quality, adoption, benefits and variances.
- Support the transition of the BI back end and the convergence of AI and data, particularly regarding sources, ingestion, pipelines, shared models, observability, documentation and continuity.
THE SKILLS THAT WILL MAKE YOU A KEY MEMBER OF OUR TEAM - Bachelor's degree in business administration, information technology, data or a related field.
- Three to five years of experience in a similar role, including project management, delivery coordination, technology product management or business analysis.
- Experience in portfolio management, prioritization, capacity planning and coordination of multidisciplinary teams.
- Good understanding of the data lifecycle and analytics platforms.
- Knowledge of data governance, quality and observability, as well as Data FinOps.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric and lakehouse architectures is a strong asset.
- Engaging leadership, rigour, agility, a customer-focused mindset, sound judgment and autonomy.
- Strong decision-making and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Professional proficiency in spoken and written French.
- Functional English to review technical documentation, collaborate with vendors and interact with the Microsoft ecosystem.
