- Is a senior BI architect that can transpose the conceptual data model in dimensional models an ideally can go further by taking the dimensional models and physicalizing them on traditional and modern D&A platform.
- The BI architect is also expected to create the dimensional metadata layer to be consumed by visualization software and/or thru API
- Master one or more Cloud environments and has been involved in AI projects
Requirements
- Has defined either 'home grown' DG solution or use tools such as Collibra, Cloudera EDH, Watson Knowledge Catalog or others
- Must have a great experience in creating conceptual data models from scratch and have them physically implemented. This clearly is not only the ability to identify and define the right concepts but also the ability to have the concepts physically implemented and used in applications and dashboards

Responsibilities
- Work with our customers' stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging their data to produce insights allowing them to improve business processes or even innovate by changing the industry. - Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques
- Assess, audit, and provide recommendations to help our customers move toward a modern D&A platform allowing them to scale their AI
- Ensure that all models (conceptual to physical) are complete, coherent, and consistent
- Help the data engineers from getting the data to the transformation toward the DataLake
- Help the BA to have business requirements align with the data architecture and vice-versa. Data architects create generic to specific data concepts and they need to tie back to the business requirements. On the other hand, many times business requirements describe the how versus the what which is a constraint in itself
