YOUR CONTRIBUTION WILL HAVE A POSITIVE IMPACT As part of the AI and Data Infrastructure team, you will take ownership of the Microsoft Fabric data and analytics platform. You will contribute to its evolution and continuity to ensure that data is reliable, secure and readily usable for BI, AI and decision-making needs.
Main responsibilities :- Evolve the Microsoft Fabric architecture, including the Bronze, Silver and Gold layers, the Lakehouse, the Warehouse and business-domain data models.
- Maintain and improve ingestion mechanisms to integrate new sources in a standardized, reusable and reliable manner.
- Develop data integration solutions using Python, PySpark, Data Factory, Dataflows Gen2 or other appropriate tools.
- Administer and operate the platform, including workspaces, Fabric capacity and DEV, QA and PROD environments.
- Ensure platform security, monitoring, continuity, performance, deployments and cost optimization.
- Design clear, high-performing data models, including star schemas and fact and dimension tables.
- Translate the needs of analysts and business teams into practical data solutions.
- Optimize the use of Power BI and serve as a technical resource for internal teams and external partners.
THE SKILLS THAT WILL MAKE YOU A KEY MEMBER OF OUR TEAM- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, data science or a related field.
- Six to eight years of experience in data engineering or data architecture, including end-to-end experience with a cloud platform in production.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, including OneLake, Lakehouse, Warehouse, notebooks, Data Factory and capacity management.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python/PySpark.
- Good knowledge of dimensional modelling, incremental ingestion mechanisms, Power BI, Git and deployments across multiple environments.
- Autonomy, thoroughness and sound prioritization skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.
- French-English bilingualism required for international exchanges and interactions involving documentation and technical vendors.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
