  • Ensure information requirements are complete, consistent, standardized, and aligned with enterprise data architecture objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to standardize, consolidate, and rationalize information assets across business processes and organizational functions.
  • Document data flows, interfaces, transformations, dependencies, and handoffs across business architecture.
  • Identify data duplication, inconsistencies, gaps, redundancies, and unnecessary transformations within existing and target-state processes.
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to validate data lifecycle models and ensure they accurately represent operational requirements.
  • Ensure data lifecycle documentation supports downstream data architecture, integration, migration, governance, and system implementation activities.
  • Translate business process and information requirements into standardized data structures and logical relationships.
  • Define data entities, attributes, relationships, and business definitions necessary to support the canonical model.
  • Collaborate with enterprise, solution, and data architects to ensure the canonical model appropriately represents target-state business requirements..
  • Maintain traceability between data dictionary entries and associated processes, business rules, capabilities, requirements, and performance measures.
  • Coordinate with subject matter experts and data owners to validate and approve data definitions.
  • Develop clear documentation and visualizations to communicate complex information and data relationships.
  • Provide recommendations regarding information management, data standardization, data ownership, and process improvement.
