As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for leveraging data and analytics to identify gaps, measure effectiveness, and drive decisions to improve the returns experience. You will need to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to solve problems, create operational efficiencies, and deliver successfully against high organizational standards. You will own end-to-end project execution for initiatives within your focus area, including influencing partner teams, driving prioritization on the roadmap, and working with tech to resolve issues you surface. You will leverage SQL and analytical tools to support the projects you own. Additionally, you should be an effective communicator capable of independently driving issues to resolution and communicating insights to non-technical audiences. This is a high impact role with goals that directly impact the bottom line of the business.
Key job responsibilities
* Use data and analytics to identify operational gaps, drive business decisions, and own resolution with partner teams.
* Employ the appropriate tools and methodologies to discover patterns of risks, abuse, and help reduce bad debt
* Analyze customer behavioral patterns and develop policy change recommendations based on findings and drive implementation with partner teams
* Leverage data to influence partner teams and drive prioritization to get issues resolved
* Write SQL queries and leverage data to surface gaps, track project health, and report on outcomes
* Work closely with business, engineering, and partner teams to align on priorities and deliver against your focus area
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of program or project management experience
- 2+ years of advanced Microsoft Word and Excel experience
- Experience working in an analytical environment with cross-functional teams
- Experience writing SQL queries to extract and analyze data, track program health, and drive decisions
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or 2+ years of Amazon experience in an analytical or program management capacity
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of Lean principles and DMAIC methodology
- Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement document
- Experience managing stakeholder communications and driving alignment across multiple teams
- Experience building automated reporting or dashboards using BI tools (e.g., QuickSight, Tableau, or similar)
The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
