Job DescriptionOverviewWe are seeking a
Cybersecurity Documentation Specialist to join our team in
Oak Ridge, TN. In this role, you will support the Department of Energy (DOE) Cybersecurity Program through documentation management, compliance coordination, records administration, and cybersecurity program support activities. You will work closely with cybersecurity professionals and technical subject matter experts to develop, maintain, and coordinate the documentation and processes necessary to meet federal and DOE cybersecurity requirements.
Your role- Supports the development, maintenance, review, and revision of cybersecurity policies, procedures, plans, standards, forms, and other program documentation in accordance with DOE cybersecurity requirements.
- Assists with the preparation and management of Risk Management Approach (RMA) documentation required by DOE Order 205.1D and associated DOE cybersecurity directives.
- Supports the development and maintenance of Interim Authority to Operate (IATO) and Authority to Operate (ATO) documentation packages.
- Maintains Cybersecurity Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) and tracks actions, commitments, milestones, and deliverables.
- Coordinates cybersecurity inspections, assessments, reviews, audits, and related documentation activities.
- Collaborates with cybersecurity specialists and technical subject matter experts to gather information and develop required compliance documentation.
- Develops, edits, formats, proofreads, and manages cybersecurity reports, templates, forms, records, and correspondence.
- Assists with document control, version management, records retention, and configuration management activities.
- Supports the implementation of DOE cybersecurity requirements for unclassified, sensitive unclassified, and classified information systems.
- Maintains cybersecurity program records and ensures documentation remains current and audit-ready.
- Tracks assignments, prioritizes competing deadlines, and supports multiple cybersecurity initiatives simultaneously.
- Supports the execution of Integrated Safety Management System (ISMS) guiding principles, core functions, and the Isotek Safety Culture.
- Supports the Department of Energy (DOE) Cybersecurity Program through documentation, compliance, coordination, and administrative support activities.
- Supports cybersecurity specialists and program personnel by developing, maintaining, and coordinating cybersecurity documentation, processes, and compliance activities in support of federal and DOE requirements.
- Stop work without fear of reprisal when unsafe conditions present a risk to personnel, operations, or the environment.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
About you- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience supporting cybersecurity, compliance, information assurance, technical documentation, records management, or related administrative functions.
- Prior experience supporting DOE cybersecurity programs or federal cybersecurity compliance activities preferred.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Word, including document formatting, editing, revision tracking, template development, and document production.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to develop, edit, proofread, and maintain complex technical and compliance documentation.
- Experience working collaboratively with technical subject matter experts and cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts, terminology, and industry frameworks such as NIST publications and DOE cybersecurity requirements.
- Experience using issue tracking, action item tracking, project management, or workflow management tools preferred.
- Ability to prioritize workloads and manage multiple assignments in a dynamic environment.
- Experience supporting audits, assessments, inspections, compliance reviews, or records management activities preferred.
- Must be able to work onsite in Oak Ridge, Tennessee; this is not a remote or telework position.

- U.S. citizenship is required for AtkinsRéalis/Isotek Systems Project positions.
