Job Duties

As our CWB Welding Inspector Manufacturing Director you will be responsible for supporting the primary Weld Supervisor and CWB Weld Inspector while driving process improvement initiatives that contribute to annual cost savings and operational goals. This role performs visual inspections of all welds to ensure compliance with quality and CWB requirements, provides technical support to welding operations, and identifies opportunities to improve safety, quality, productivity, and manufacturing efficiency.

You will bring 5+ years of certified welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment to KONE. High school diploma or equivalent required.

Other Listed Duties
  • Develop and maintain standard work instructions, procedures, and training materials to support consistent manufacturing practices.
  • Provide training and mentorship to welding personnel on inspection criteria, welding procedures, and quality expectations.
  • Support special projects and manufacturing initiatives that improve operational performance, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.


Other Hiring requirements
  • Must have or pass CWB certification classes: CWB Certified Welding Supervisor (CWB) and/or Certified Wending Inspector (CWI) certification preferred.
  • High school diploma and 20year associate's degree preferred.
  • Experience interpreting welding drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
  • Experience supporting continuous improvement or process improvement initiatives is an asset.
  • Experience performing weld inspections and evaluating compliance with quality standards, engineering drawings, and customer specifications.
  • Working knowledge of welding procedures, quality requirements, root cause analysis, and corrective action methodologies.

Annual Base Pay Range:

The hiring range for this role is $83,000 - $108,885. The compensation package offered will depend on candidate's ability to meet the requirements of the role, needs for the business strategy, and a range of factors unique to each candidate, including their skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and location.

Variable Compensation

KONE Annual Bonus plan at 10% Target Incentive (50/50) based on achievement of company goals and individual goals.
