Customer Supply Chain ManagerWorking Location: Congers, NY

This position does not qualify for international relocation.
All candidates must be authorized to work in US and not require sponsorship.

What You Will Do at Aptar Pharma:

The primary mission of the Customer Supply Chain Manager is to care for our customers by ensuring high levels of customer appreciation and satisfaction. This position is responsible for effectively managing the customers' supply chain activities by leveraging an integrated cross-function execution of the rolling sales forecast and sales order management processes supported by a robust master data management. In alignment with the company's strategy, the Customer Supply Chain Manager should promote continuous improvement principles to target excellence.

What Aptar Pharma Is Looking For:

Rolling Sales Forecast Management
  • Lead the Customer Supply Chain team to partner with selected customers to establish 18-month horizon rolling sales forecasts.
  • Ensure establishment of demand reviews with customers in cooperation with Sales and consolidate results.
  • Oversee data entry process in forecast system to ensure data accuracy and proper demand consolidation.
  • Prepare monthly year-end sales estimate and provide a robust input to the S&OP process and to the annual sales budget.

Sales Order Management
  • Responsible for Customer Supply Chain team order-to-cash activity, and communication with Aptar plants and external customers.
  • Support Customer Supply Chain team visits to selected customers to review demand and operations.
  • Attend customer meetings when needed.
  • Responsible for sales outlook monthly reporting based on continuous demand analysis.
  • Work closely with internal departments to ensure that client requirements are met; identify challenges and risks and elevate those if needed.
  • Work closely with Aptar supply chain organizations to exchange, define and implement best practices.
  • Ensure that customer issues related to sales order management are resolved with appropriate departments in a timely manner.
  • Accountable for the Customer Master Data maintenance in SAP based on information provided by Sales (Customer Master Information, Customer Master Specification Record and Price conditions).
  • Direct and coordinate the Customer Supply Chain team activities; assign responsibilities, delegate authority, recruit, select, orient, and train employees.
  • Establish and communicate goals to the Customer Supply Chain team and monitor results.
  • Establish team members' development initiatives and individual objectives.
  • Organize, maintain and record training programs for all team members.
  • Maintain team performance level by coaching, counselling, disciplining, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
  • Implement and maintain departmental and inter-departmental processes, workflows, and procedures consistent with internal procedure.
  • Responsible for Customer Supply Chain SOX compliance.

What you will bring on the journey

Education
  • Bachelor's level degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Engineering, Supply Chain, Business)


Experience
  • 3-5 years' experience in Supply Chain, Customer Supply Chain management or in a similar position interacting with customers
  • 3-5 years' experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment preferred
  • Certification preferred in one or more of the following: Lean, Six sigma, APICS (or equivalent)
  • Experience with international logistics is a plus
  • Knowledge of SAP or other similar ERP systems
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Power Point
  • Language: Fluent in English, French is a plus

Compensation and Base Annual Pay

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $125,000 to $169,500 annually. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
