Responsibilities

  • Perform CT exams according to departmental protocols to ensure high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Explain CT procedures to patients and confirm their understanding of the process.
  • Assist patients with proper positioning and comfort during procedures.
  • Administer IV contrast and closely monitor patients for adverse reactions.
  • Adhere to safety standards and universal precautions at all times.

$10k Sign-On Bonus

Hours:
  • Mid-Shift
  • 11:00am -7:30pm
  • M-F rotating every other weekend and holiday among team
  • Area: Radiology- Computer Tomography
  • Location: Loyola Medicine, Maywood, IL


About the Job

Performs CT procedures using independent judgment and technical skill to produce high-quality diagnostic images. Ensures safe, accurate, and efficient care while adhering to departmental protocols and regulatory standards.

What you'll do

CT Imaging & Patient Care

  • Perform CT exams according to departmental protocols to produce high-quality diagnostic images, including 3-D reconstructions.
  • Explain procedures, obtain relevant patient history, and ensure accurate patient identification.
  • Assist patients with positioning, transfers, and comfort measures while promoting safety and following universal precautions.
  • Administer IV contrast and monitor for reactions, following contrast safety guidelines.

  • Computer Assisted Tomography (CT Technologist)
  • CPR from American Heart Association (ONLY)
  • ARRT CT certification required within 13 months of hire (agency staff must have CT certification at start)

Pay Range: $35.00 -$57.00 per hour

Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
