Department: General Radiology

Schedule: Day shift | Full-time |7:30 am - 4:00 pm

Sign-On Bonus: Up to $15,000.00

Salary: $37.50 - $52.27 per hour

How you'll make an impact in this role

  • Perform computerized tomographic procedures for the diagnosis of disease and injury by preparing, positioning, and selecting technical parameters for patients.
  • Prepare and administer contrast media and medications in accordance with established scope of practice and all relevant state and federal regulations.
  • Maintain a safe clinical environment by strictly following radiation safety guidelines and monitoring patients for any abnormal activity during procedures.
  • Ensure operational and diagnostic quality by actively monitoring protocols and recommending updates or refinements as necessary.


What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Radiologic Technologist or Nuclear Medicine Technologist credentialed from IEMA obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • One or more of the following required:
    • Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. NMTCB(CT) Computed Tomography Specialty Certification or ARRT(CT) Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography required in addition to CNMT Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification.
    • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy specialty also accepted.
    • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.


Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
