Cath Lab Tech (ARRT-R Required)

 

Department: Cardiology

Schedule: Full-Time | Days (rare opening, 5 x 8-hour shifts)

Bonus: $10,000 Sign-On Bonus

Location: 333 Madison St, Joliet, IL 60435

 

Join a high-impact Cath Lab team where you’ll play a hands-on role in life-saving cardiac procedures. You’ll assist in advanced diagnostic and interventional cases, monitor real-time hemodynamics, and work alongside skilled physicians in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment—making a direct difference in patient outcomes every day.

Responsibilities

★ Assist in life-saving cardiac procedures – work side-by-side with physicians during diagnostic and interventional cases.

★ Own the procedure room – scrub in, maintain sterile technique, and ensure everything is ready for seamless cases.

★ Monitor what matters most – track real-time hemodynamic data that directly impacts patient outcomes.

★ Keep operations running strong – manage supplies, equipment, and room readiness at a high level.

★ Grow within a skilled team – support training, collaborate with peers, and be part of continuous improvement.

★ Make an impact across cases – contribute to both invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.

★ Deliver safe, high-quality care – uphold top standards in patient safety, infection control, and compliance.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

 

1.    ARRT-R and licensed as required by State; VI (Vascular Interventional Technologist) preferred.

2.    Previous experience in a Interventional Radiology department preferred.

3.    BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintain current.

4.    Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); required within 30 days of hire.

5.    Proficient computer skills.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $37.00 to $53.59. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
