Job Description:

Position Overview

As a Salesforce Associate, Business Analyst, you serve as a key liaison between the Journey Pod (Ops), Business stakeholders, Technology teams, and Quality Assurance. In this role, you translate business needs into actionable requirements, facilitate collaboration across teams, and support the effective delivery of Salesforce solutions and operational processes.

Key Accountabilities

Business Analysis & Operational Support
  • Provide deep technical expertise, analysis, and operational process support as a key resource for the team.
  • Identify, document, investigate, and resolve production issues and escalations beyond first-level support.
  • Analyze business processes and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Provide insights, reporting, and upward feedback to support decision-making.


Project & Initiative Leadership
  • Lead workstreams and act as a project lead or subject matter expert for small-scale projects and initiatives.
  • Support the identification, development, and implementation of new workflows, services, and operational improvements.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the team and broader organization.


Salesforce Administration & Reporting
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance Salesforce reports and dashboards.
  • Produce consolidated and aggregated Excel files to support mass updates and data management activities.
  • Support data quality, reporting, and business analytics initiatives through effective Salesforce utilization.


Stakeholder Management
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Represent the broader Operations function while addressing complex customer and business issues across end-to-end processes.
  • Collaborate effectively with Business, Technology, and QA teams to ensure successful solution delivery.


Knowledge Sharing & Team Development
  • Provide training on best practices, tools, and processes.
  • Coach and guide junior team members in the completion of business-as-usual activities.
  • Promote knowledge sharing and contribute to the team's overall capability growth.


Leadership & Continuous Improvement
  • Provide thought leadership by actively developing expertise in operations, Salesforce, and industry trends.
  • Think critically about existing processes and identify opportunities for enhancement.
  • Share ideas, lessons learned, and best practices across teams and functions.
  • Act as a positive brand ambassador and role model.


Qualifications

Education & Certifications
  • Post-secondary degree, diploma, or technical certification (Business or Technology preferred).
  • Salesforce experience required.
  • Salesforce Associate Certification required.
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification, or progress toward certification, is considered a strong asset.
  • Business Analyst experience and/or related certifications are an asset.


Technical Skills
  • Strong understanding of the Salesforce platform, reporting capabilities, and best practices.
  • Experience creating and managing Salesforce reports and dashboards.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with Jira is considered an asset.
  • Experience with complex reporting and data management.
