Full Job Description
A career as a Credit Manager - Agriculture within the Agricultural Credit Risk team at National Bank means acting as a key decision-maker for agricultural and agri-food financing. This role allows you to play an essential part in growing high-potential client portfolios by applying your strong expertise in financial and credit analysis.

This opportunity is ideal if you are motivated by decision-making, business impact, and collaboration with business relationship managers to ensure solid and strategic credit outcomes.

Your Role
  • Analyze, authorize, or recommend agricultural and agri-food credit files, while respecting risk appetite and policies.
  • Collaborate with business lines to provide quick responses to financing requests.
  • Support account managers as an advisor and coach in structuring credit.
  • Monitor loan portfolios and proactively recommend improvements.
  • Identify and implement quality control strategies to strengthen portfolio integrity.
  • Participate in credit committees and various initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and act as a change champion to improve tools and processes.

Basic Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in agronomy, agroeconomics, or business administration, with at least 7 years of relevant experience
