Job Description:The Credit Analyst III/Credit Officer assists with financing facilities secured by credit related and other corporate assets and in ensuring robust and consistent credit underwriting for Global Markets lending and trading activities.
The Credit Analyst III/Credit Officer will be expected to develop subject matter expertise in US credit and Collateralized Loan Obligation related financing products and perform credit and structural analysis of proposed transactions. The Credit Analyst III/Credit Officer will work closely with other team members, FLU, and risk partners and help drive loan growth and ensure robust portfolio management with minimal oversight
Responsibilities:- Review new business opportunities being presented by the front line, provide early feedback on structure/terms and client selection in the screening process to ensure transactions fit within risk appetite
- Partner with front line unit and credit officers to structure, underwrite, and document credit solutions for clients and ensure robust ongoing monitoring. Escalate and debate key findings when appropriate.
- Preparation of underwriting materials, creation and submission of credit approval memos, and securing appropriate credit and risk approvals.
- Establish appropriate internal risk ratings for counterparties and implement accurate adjustments throughout the client's credit life cycle
- Engage partners including other parts of Enterprise Credit, client coverage areas, legal, and market risk as required
- Support firm-wide Enterprise Credit initiatives including adherence with operational and governance processes and liaise with applicable stakeholders across the firm on emerging topics
Required Qualifications:- 3 + years of experience with Commercial/Corporate credit risk management, credit underwriting, structuring, loan origination, or public rating agencies. Structured finance experience preferred
- Strong understanding of corporate finance and accounting concepts
- Proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint, along with ability to quickly learn new programs and applications
Desired Qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree: Finance, Accounting, or Economics majors preferred with strong academic credentials.

Pay and benefits information
Pay range
$110,000.00 - $198,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
Discretionary incentive eligible
