Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in advertising sales, marketing, consulting, or media.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience in media strategy and operations, budget tracking, pipeline tracking, contracting, invoicing, corporate purchasing, project procurement management, PO governance, or ledger reconciliation within a matrixed corporate environment.
  • Understanding of the online video/TV ecosystem and media/marketing landscape.
  • Ability to create effective internal and external-facing materials, while distilling important information for audiences who are unfamiliar with the nuances and complexities of systems.
  • Ability to build operational tracking dashboards and connect workflows into existing data infrastructure built by centralized analytics/data operations teams.
  • Ability to manage complex, multi-faceted projects with multiple stakeholders.


About the job

The Creator Payments and Operations Lead will play a pivotal role in driving the YouTube business forward. In this role, you will lead creator payment execution-including Media Readiness Program (MRP) contracting and cross-functional partnerships with Go-to-Market and Legal teams -while streamlining processes, piloting new emerging solutions, and driving operational efficiency.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $88000 - $124000 (USD) 35% bonus target equity benefits

Responsibilities
  • Manage creator payment operations for a high-volume portfolio of advertiser programs (e.g., Creator Shows, Creator Ads, Sponsored Shorts, etc.).
  • Drive the end-to-end vendor onboarding and enrollment process for new third-party production partners (3PP).
  • Act as the primary operational hub between the US Sponsorships Team, Social Video Team, Go To Market Agreement Desk, Global Finance, and Procurement teams to proactively remove execution bottlenecks.
  • Oversee the allocation process of YouTube credits for all US YouTube Agency Principal Trading agreements. This includes applying credits to YouTube agreement campaign invoices after credits are awarded, credit invoice troubleshooting, and tracking overall credit usage by Agency and Advertiser.
  • Act as the resident team expert on MRP infrastructure, educating internal execution leads and external third-party production (3PP) vendors on mandatory compliance rules, submission tracking, and invoice requirements.
