Summary:

The Creative Discovery Guide & Studio Manager supports studio operations and programming by facilitating engaging, inclusive, and creative experiences that foster connection, curiosity, and well-being for residents, team members, and community participants. This role serves as a studio host and experience leader, guiding creative exploration while supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of creative discovery programming.

Position Vision: Serves as the primary studio host, facilitator, and experience leader - cultivating welcoming, inspiring, and creatively engaging environments that foster discovery, connection, and well-being for residents, team members and community participants.

Essential Functions:

  • Create and maintain welcoming, inclusive, and engaging studio environments that encourage participation, creativity, and connection.
  • Facilitate meaningful participant engagement by guiding creative exploration, fostering curiosity and building creative confidence.
  • Support implementation of creative discovery programming, including on-site and virtual workshops, classes, and events.
  • Coordinate, lead, and participate in creative experiences, ensuring high-quality delivery and participant satisfaction.
  • Build relationships with residents, team members, and community participants to foster engagement, repeat participation, and social connection.
  • Collaborate with artists, instructors, and community partners to support diverse and engaging programming.
  • Assist in development and refinement of creative discovery curriculum and program offerings.
  • Support curation and execution of exhibitions and related events, including installation and de-installation activities.
  • Manage studio readiness, including supplies, setup, organization, and maintenance of safe and functional spaces.
  • Support marketing and communication efforts, including website updates, social media content, calendars, and outreach coordination.
  • Maintain awareness of trends and research related to creativity, brain health, longevity, and well-being to inform program delivery.
  • Track participation, collect feedback, and support evaluation of program outcomes to inform continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and organizational standards within the studio environment.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.


Education with Equivalent Qualifications:

Essential:

* High School / GED or Associates Degree / Two years of college, plus two years of related work experience, or four years of related work experience

NonEssential:

* Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts, Fine Arts, Arts Administration or related field

Experience with Equivalent Qualifications:
Essential:

* 3 Years in creative programming, community engagement, education, hospitality, or a related field.

NonEssential:

* 1 Year facilitating group programs, workshops, or participant experiences
