Job Description

As an HR Analytics Specialist, you will play a key role in transforming people data into actionable workforce insights that support strategic business decisions. Working closely with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Rewards, People Services, and business leaders, you will leverage analytics, automation, and AI-driven solutions to enhance workforce planning, employee experience, operational efficiency, and organizational effectiveness.

In this role, you will help shape the future of HR through data-driven decision-making, responsible AI adoption, and continuous improvement initiatives across the employee lifecycle. Your work will influence workforce decisions through trusted insights, drive measurable improvements in employee experience and HR effectiveness, and position HR as a strategic partner through actionable workforce intelligence. You will build strong cross-functional partnerships and contribute to a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and responsible use of AI across the organization.

Please note that this is an office-based position. Employees are expected to work on-site at the designated Nokia office location. Relocation assistance and employment sponsorship are not available for this role. Candidates must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located without current or future visa sponsorship requirements.

Responsibilities

People Analytics & Workforce Insights
• Analyze workforce data and HR metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities that inform business and talent strategies.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations that provide meaningful insights to HR and business leaders.
• Support workforce planning, organizational design, talent management, and employee retention initiatives through data analysis and predictive insights.
• Translate complex data into clear recommendations that drive business outcomes and improve workforce effectiveness.
• Establish and monitor key HR performance indicators and workforce metrics.

AI Transformation & Automation
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes through AI, automation, and digital innovation.
• Partner with HR stakeholders to design and implement AI-enabled solutions that improve productivity, employee experience, and decision-making.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend practical use cases that align with business needs and HR priorities.
• Support responsible AI adoption by promoting best practices in governance, compliance, and ethical use of employee data.
• Measure and communicate the impact and effectiveness of AI-driven initiatives.

Employee Experience & HR Programs
• Support initiatives that improve employee engagement, workplace culture, and employee experience.
• Collaborate with HR teams on programs related to workforce transformation, organizational changes, rewards and recognition, and talent initiatives.
• Contribute insights that help leaders understand employee trends, engagement levels, and organizational effectiveness.
• Drive continuous improvement efforts by simplifying processes and enhancing service delivery through technology and data.

Data Governance & Operational Excellence
• Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of HR data across systems and reporting platforms.
• Support data governance practices, compliance requirements, and reporting standards.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to improve HR processes and drive operational excellence.
• Maintain documentation, methodologies, and analytical frameworks that support scalable reporting and decision-making.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in HR analytics, workforce planning, people analytics, business intelligence, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and translate findings into business recommendations.
• Experience with HR systems, reporting tools, and data visualization platforms.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience working with large datasets.
• Knowledge of data analysis techniques, statistical methods, and workforce metrics.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong project management and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
• Proven track record of driving process improvements through analytics and technology.

It Would Be Nice If You Also Had
• Experience implementing AI, machine learning, automation, or generative AI solutions in HR or business environments.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, R, or other analytics tools.
• Knowledge of workforce planning methodologies and predictive analytics.
• Experience supporting organizational transformation or change management initiatives.
• Understanding of data governance, privacy, compliance, and responsible AI principles.
• Experience within a global or matrixed organization.
