What would you do? As our Corporate IT Specialist, you'll serve as the senior technical authority responsible for managing, optimizing, and securing our corporate technology environment. You'll own key areas of our Microsoft 365 and Okta ecosystems, oversee the management and lifecycle of our Mac and Windows device fleet, and ensure our systems, users, and data remain secure and reliable. As the final escalation point for complex technical issues, you'll combine hands-on troubleshooting with proactive system administration, automation, and process improvement while partnering with the broader IT team to deliver a seamless technology experience across the organization.

Primary Responsibilities


Serve as the senior technical authority for enterprise IT infrastructure, with a focus on Microsoft 365, Okta, and Mac/Windows endpoint management. This role provides advanced technical support, oversees device and security management, and drives reliable, secure technology operations across the organization.
  • Manage and secure Okta as the primary identity platform, including SSO, MFA, user lifecycle workflows, and directory integrations
  • Administer and optimize Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams
  • Manage Mac and Windows endpoints using Microsoft Intune and Apple Business Manager and JAMF
  • Oversee the full laptop lifecycle, from procurement and provisioning to troubleshooting, maintenance and decommissioning
  • Act as the final escalation point for complex identity, Microsoft 365, hardware, and software issues
  • Implement and monitor security and compliance controls using Okta, Intune, Microsoft Defender, and DLP tools
  • Automate provisioning and administrative tasks using PowerShell, Bash, and Okta Workflows
  • Use PowerShell, Okta Workflows, Bash, and other tools to automate provisioning, administrative tasks, and endpoint deployments
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and configuration maps to keep our environment organized and easy to support
  • Mentor and support Tier 1 and Tier 2 IT team members, sharing knowledge and helping build technical capabilities across the team
  • Partner with the broader IT organization to manage multiple projects while keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly

What do you know?

Knowledge and Experience:
  • College diploma or university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 5+ years of enterprise corporate IT support experience, including 3+ years managing Okta, Microsoft 365, and enterprise laptop fleets
  • Advanced experience administering Okta, including Universal Directory, SSO, Adaptive MFA, and Lifecycle Management
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Entra ID
  • Hands-on experience managing Windows and macOS devices through Microsoft Intune, Apple Business Manager and JAMF
  • Expert-level troubleshooting skills of enterprise laptop hardware, including Apple, Lenovo, and Dell devices
  • Solid understanding of enterprise networking, including DNS, routing, firewalls, and VPNs, particularly as they relate to cloud services
  • Strong analytical and root-cause problem-solving skills, with the ability to stay calm and effective when tackling complex issues
  • Proven ability to balance competing project priorities with day-to-day IT operations and escalations

Preferred Experience:
  • Okta Certified Professional or Administrator
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert or equivalent (MD-102 / MS-102)
  • Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP)
  • Exceptional analytical and root-cause problem-solving skills under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills in English; French proficiency is highly valued in the Ottawa market
  • Proven ability to manage multiple project timelines alongside daily operational escalations.
