Full Job Description
We are currently seeking an ERP Solution Specialist to join our facility in Waterloo. Reporting to the PLEX/ERP Manager, the ERP Solutions Specialist serves as the primary business and systems expert responsible for implementing, supporting, and optimizing ERP solutions across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Inventory, and Logistics functions. This role partners with business stakeholders, IT teams, and implementation partners to ensure ERP systems support organizational objectives, improve efficiency, and enable data-driven decision-making.

This position is full time on-site in Waterloo, Canada. Ability and willingness to travel internationally is required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the liaison between business units and technical teams, translating business requirements into ERP solutions and process improvements.
  • Lead ERP implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and transformation initiatives through requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
  • Configure, maintain, and support ERP modules related to all business aspects
  • Analyze business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend scalable solutions that align with operational goals.
  • Develop and maintain functional specifications, process documentation, and training materials.
  • Design, test, and deploy enhancements and improvements to the ERP system.
  • Troubleshoot system issues, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate corrective actions with stakeholders and vendors.
  • Support ERP integrations, reporting, analytics, and data validation to ensure reliable business operations and accurate decision-making.
  • Assist with data migration, project readiness, and cutover planning during ERP go-live events.
  • Support change management initiatives, and promote adoption of new processes and technologies.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, security standards, audit requirements, and regulatory obligations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement, operational excellence, and long-term ERP system effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • 3 years ERP implementation and/or support experience. Experience with Plex ERP preferred.
  • Experience in SQL, webservices, programming, report writing and data management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Proven leadership skills and successful track record of managing projects and working with people at all levels of the organization.
