AbouttheRole:

WearelookingforaCorporateDirectorofNursing(DON)toorganizeandadministerareasofclinicalandpatientcareservicestoattainfacility27sobjectivesestablishedbyadministration.

Responsibilities:

• Hospital-wide programs, policies and procedures are developed to assess, evaluate and meet the needs of te patient.
• Developsandimplementshospitalplansforprovidingnursingcare,treatment,andclinicalservicestothosepatientsrequiringcaretreatmentandservices.
• The DON participates with the management, medical staff and clinical leaders in the facility27s decision-makingstructuresandprocesses.
• TheDONimplementsaneffective,ongoingprogramtomeasure,assessandimprovethequalityofnursingcare,treatmentandservicesdeliveredtopatients.

Requiredqualifications:

1.CurrentandvalidstatelicenseasaRegisteredNurse.

2. Minimum of two (2) years supervisory/management experience necessary.

3. Minimum of five (5) years of continuous clinical experience in a clinical/acute care setting.

4.BachelorofScienceinNursing(BSN).

5.CurrentBLScertificateuponhireandmaintaincurrent.

6. Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certificate upon hire and maintain current.

7.ChiefNursingExecutiveExperiencerequired.

Preferredqualifications:

• 1.BehavioralViolencePrevention(BVP)within6monthsofhireandmaintaincurrent.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $180,000.00 to $240,000.00. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
