About the Role:

We are looking for a  Corporate Director of Nursing (DON)  to organize and administer areas of clinical and patient care services to attain facility’s objectives established by administration.

Responsibilities:

• Hospital-wide programs, policies and procedures are developed to assess, evaluate and meet the needs of te patient.
• Develops and implements hospital plans for providing nursing care, treatment, and clinical services to those patients requiring care treatment and services.
• The DON participates with the management, medical staff and clinical leaders in the facility’s decision-making structures and processes.
• The DON implements an effective, ongoing program to measure, assess and improve the quality of nursing care, treatment and services delivered to patients.

Required qualifications:

1. Current and valid state license as a Registered Nurse.

2. Minimum of two (2) years supervisory/management experience necessary.

3. Minimum of five (5) years of continuous clinical experience in a clinical/acute care setting.

4. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

5. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.

6. Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certificate upon hire and maintain current.

7. Chief Nursing Executive Experience required.

Preferred qualifications:

• 1. Behavioral Violence Prevention (BVP) within 6 months of hire and maintain current.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $180,000.00 to $240,000.00. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
