POSITION SUMMARY:
  • The Director of CyberSecurity reports to the Chief Information Officer
  • Located in Mansfield, MA
  • Full-Time
  • Hybrid


We are seeking an accomplished and visionary Director of Cybersecurity with extensive experience to lead and shape our cybersecurity strategy. The successful candidate will provide strategic direction, oversee security operations, and ensure the implementation of robust cybersecurity measures. This position requires a seasoned professional with a proven track record of successful cybersecurity leadership, a deep understanding of emerging threats, and the ability to align security initiatives with organizational goals.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Cybersecurity Leadership:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to prioritize and implement strategic cybersecurity initiatives based on risk assessments and business priorities.

Security Operations and Governance:
  • Oversee and optimize security operations, ensuring effective monitoring, analysis, and implementation of security controls.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of comprehensive security policies, procedures, and compliance initiatives.

Incident Response Excellence:
  • Lead and coordinate incident response efforts, ensuring a swift and effective resolution to security incidents.
  • Conduct thorough post-incident reviews, implementing corrective actions and continuous improvement measures.

Team Leadership and Development:
  • Provide strategic leadership and mentorship to the cybersecurity team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous professional development.
  • Conduct regular training sessions and knowledge-sharing programs to enhance the team's expertise.

Stakeholder Management and Communication:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and engage with stakeholders to ensure the alignment of security measures with business objectives.
  • Effectively communicate cybersecurity risks, recommendations, and achievements to executive leadership and other stakeholders.


COMPETENCIES:
  • Demonstrated ability to provide visionary and strategic leadership in developing and executing comprehensive cybersecurity strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Proven expertise in coordinating and leading effective incident response efforts, including conducting thorough post-incident reviews and implementing continuous improvement measures.
  • In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity governance frameworks, compliance standards, and the ability to lead the development and maintenance of comprehensive security policies and procedures.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of successfully mentoring and developing high-performance cybersecurity teams.
  • Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and adept at communicating cybersecurity risks, recommendations, and achievements to executive leadership and other stakeholders.


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent military or practical experience.
  • 10 years of progressive experience in cybersecurity roles, with a focus on security operations, incident response, and governance.
  • In-depth understanding of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices.
  • Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) tools and advanced cybersecurity technologies.
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or equivalent.
  • Team management and leadership experience.
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check post offer acceptance.

Compensation includes the posted base salary range and does not reflect potential commission, incentive, bonus, or other additional compensation opportunities, where applicable. Total compensation is determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, geographic location, and other job-related compensatory factors.

In addition to base salary, this role will be eligible for participation in TriMark's' benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, 401K (with employer match), etc. Leadership positions may also qualify for participation in bonus programs commensurate with role and scope of responsibility.
